2023 “Milorad Rajcevic” Award for travel journalism & media promotion, Loznica, Serbia

Dear FIJET members,

It’s our pleasure to inform you that we delivered the award “Milorad Rajčević” second year in a row in town of Loznica. Milorad Rajčević was the most famous “Serbian traveller,” journalist and publicist which went over 120 000 km during his traveling, visited over 70 countries, learnt 12 languages and made “golden book of  authographs” included those of Tesla, Pupin, Gandhi, Hitler, Franco, Alcalá-Zamora, Mussolini, Pope, king Carol of Romania, king Christian of Denmark, King Gustav etc.This year’s winners are:

– Smiljana Popov from Belgrade, Serbia, the author of popular scientific show “Serbia for Beginners,“ for episode dedicated to Stara Pazova „Pazova for Beginners”

– Maja Zagoričnik from Kranj, Slovenia, for the film reportage „Lila Lo Festival of Optimism in Loznica“

-Goran Gazdek from Virovitica, Croatia, director of the international festival “Fr Ma Fu,” for written reportage  „Golubac – the Place Where the Danube is the Widest”

The winners of the FIJET Serbia’s charter are:

– Gordana Momčilović, from Stara Pazova, Serbia, for a text published on the web portal Al Jazeera Balkans, “Ancient Medijana in Niš”

– Mr Dragan Todorović, from Aranđelovac, Serbia, “Wine Manifestations and Unique Tourism Destination Aranđelovac-Topola.”

Special Letter of Appreciation was given to town of Loznica for contribution and promotion of the Fijet Serbia’s work.
