Last week, I had the opportunity to attend the 8th Mediterranean Tourism Forum in Malta. Representing Cyprus, I was nominated by the Cyprus Travel Writers & Journalists Society to join this prestigious gathering of disruptive thought leaders from across the Mediterranean. The aim? To define priorities that will shape a more sustainable Mediterranean tourism agenda, ultimately laying the foundation for peace and stability in the region. 
It was an honor to be part of this event, where experts, innovators, and visionaries came together to discuss how we can make tourism not just a thriving industry but also a powerful force for positive change. The discussions were enlightening, and I am inspired by the commitment of all attendees to create a sustainable and harmonious future for Mediterranean tourism. I look forward to sharing the insights and knowledge gained during the forum with my colleagues, friends, and the broader community. Together, we can contribute to a brighter and more sustainable future for the Mediterranean region.
