The state of Cyprus’ tourism industry and its future prospects was the central focus of the Annual General Assembly of the Cyprus Association of Tourism Enterprises (ACTE), on Tuesday, 11 February 2025, at the Hilton Hotel in Nicosia. ACTE President Akis Vavlitis presented a review of the past tourism year, highlighting key challenges and developments affecting the hotel and hospitality sector.The Association of Cyprus Tourist Enterprises (ACTE) was founded in June 1997 by a group of tourism entrepreneurs who share the common view that the development of quality and sustainable tourism is a one-way road for Cyprus Tourism. Hence, ACTE is composed of a group of prominent top quality hotels and tourist enterprises all over Cyprus.
