If you ever visit Glasgow, Scotland, be sure to visit the “Kelvingrove Art Gallery and Museum”. Admission is free for the public. Every day at 1 p.m. you can listen to wonderful organ music, play by professional musicians. The Museum was opened in 1901. This is one of the most popular museums in Scotland and on the list of free attractions. Architects: John W. Simpson and E. J. Milner Allen. The magnificent building is made in the Baroque style. The museum closed and re-opened in 2006 after three years.  It cost 27 million pounds refurbishment and restoration. Also, huge building space was reorganized into two halves: “Life” and “Expression”. The Life galleries represent natural history and prehistory. The acoustics are excellent, because of the high ceilings and the huge space. You will spend at least a few hours in this museum, as you will have to explore many galleries. The most important objects are the painting “Christ on the Cross of Saint John” by Salvador Dali.  (The copyright of this painting was bought by the curator at the time after meeting with Dali). Also, the ancient Egyptian Sarcophagus and the famous floating heads of the Sophia Cave. And where else are the most diverse Scottish products made of glass, wood, metal, wool. Here you will find something to admire and what will very pleasantly surprise you, as it surprised me. If I lived in Glasgow, I would visit this place every week, because I would always discover something new. Expression galleries include the fine art collection. More than 8,000 objects are exhibited in 22 galleries.  We have a pleasure walking surrounded the beautiful art.Lots of young people were here, educating themselves. I catch one couple, who’s emotions catch on my camera. Later share a few photos with them. They loved it. Every year thousands of visitors coming in this famous museum and Art gallery. More than 1 million and 300 thousand people visited this place. After leaving the museum, you can take a walk in the nearby park. Is it worth visiting here? Simply necessary! Because the Kelvingrove Museum is not one, but several impressive museums under one roof. It will broaden your worldview and perception of the cultures (not just Scotland), but of other countries. Stunning place!
