At the recommendation of the Honorary Consul of Armenia in Cyprus, Mr. Martin Minasyan, our Association has applied to the Deputy Minister of Tourism for support in hosting of a team (three mass media personnel) from Armenia who are working with the Armenia TV, US Armenia TV, and ARTN TV, and is also available on the Armflix TV app.
They are specialized in promoting tourism by showcasing the beauty, culture, and attractions of various destinations, with a global audience spanning both television and digital platforms. The aim is to plan an episode dedicated to Cyprus, focusing on its rich history, cultural diversity, and stunning landscape.
Mr. George Minas, Market Development Officer, International Relations, Deputy Ministry of Tourism who is handling the application takes seriously into account the fact that Armenia is becoming an important tourism market for Cyprus. The Travel & Tourism market from Armenia also is projected to experience a significant increase in the coming years as the air connectivity is enhanced.
He estimates also that the difficulties arising by the visa procedures for Armenians will be eliminated as Armenia and Cyprus will reciprocally open embassies in the capitals of both countries in the coming months. All these points create positive dynamics in the field of tourism from Armenia.
