Συνάντηση στο Προεδρικό Μέγαρο με τον Αναπληρωτή Κυβερνητικό Εκπρόσωπο κ. Γιάννη Αντωνίου με αντιπροσωπεία του Παγκύπριου Συνδέσμου Συγγραφέων & Δημοσιογράφων Τουρισμού
A meeting was held today with the Deputy Government Spokesperson Mr. Yiannis Antoniou. We are deeply thankful for the time that the Deputy Government Spokesperson Mr. Yiannis Antoniou took today. He met with our delegation and he was informed about our Association’s activities both in Cyprus and abroad at his office. His insights and briefing on associations issues was invaluable and the open dialogue held was productive and enlightening. It was an interesting and fruitful discussion and we truly appreciate the views he shared with us. Mr. Yiannis Antoniou, we thank you for your time and commitment for addressing our concerns. We look forward to future discussions and continued collaboration.

Συναντήθηκε με την αντιπροσωπεία μας και ενημερώθηκε στο γραφείο του για τις δραστηριότητες του Συλλόγου μας τόσο στην Κύπρο όσο και στο εξωτερικό. Οι γνώσεις του και η ενημέρωσή του για θέματα σωματείων ήταν πολύτιμες και ο ανοιχτός διάλογος που διεξήχθη ήταν παραγωγικός και διαφωτιστικός. Ήταν μια ενδιαφέρουσα και γόνιμη συζήτηση και εκτιμούμε πραγματικά τις απόψεις που μοιράστηκε μαζί μας. Κύριε Γιάννη Αντωνίου, σας ευχαριστούμε για τον χρόνο και τη δέσμευσή σας για την αντιμετώπιση των ανησυχιών μας. Ανυπομονούμε για μελλοντικές συζητήσεις και συνεχή συνεργασία.

The Presidential Palace was formerly the Government House, the residence of the British Governor of Cyprus at the time of the British rule (1878-1960). Following Cyprus’ independence and the departure of the British Governor in 1960, the Government House became the official Presidential Palace of the Republic of Cyprus.
Το Προεδρικό Μέγαρο ήταν παλαιότερα το Κυβερνείο, η κατοικία του Βρετανού Κυβερνήτη της Κύπρου την εποχή της Αγγλοκρατίας (1878-1960). Μετά την ανεξαρτησία της Κύπρου και την αποχώρηση του Βρετανού Κυβερνήτη το 1960, το Κυβερνείο έγινε το επίσημο Προεδρικό Μέγαρο της Κυπριακής Δημοκρατίας. Οι κήποι του Προεδρικού Μεγάρου σχηματίζουν μια όαση πρασίνου στην καρδιά της Λευκωσίας.
