FIJET (Fédération Internationale des Journalistes et Ecrivains du Tourisme; in English World Federation of Travel Journalists and Writers) is a professional organization of travel journalists and travel writers. The oldest Association of Travel Journalists and Travel Writers was founded on December 4th 1954, in Paris (France).

FIJET Cyprus organized successfully a conference held in Nicosia, Cyprus in 1984 for FIJET International. Philip (Phivos) Nicolaides, now president of FIJET-Cyprus became a member in 1985 and acted as treasurer between 1986 – 1991.
