Our Association organized an exciting day trip to Kyperounta village on Sunday 27h, 2022 for its members and their friends. Charm Kyperounta village was transformed into a festive Christmas wonderland offering festive fun for all.
Young, old, locals and tourists will be able to enjoy activities and performances around the village. They are waiting for you to celebrate with them this magical holiday period, from November 26, 2022 until January 15, 2023!
Kyperounta is dressed in its finest festive attire to spread the Christmas cheer, officially launched on November 26. The initiative is a project by the deputy ministry of tourism to promote Cypriot villages and share more of the Cyprus charm beyond its busy summer season.

Spectacular decorations fill the village centre, festive music play, and wooden Christmas houses showcase local art and Cypriot vino-gastronomy while a rich programme of nature activities, thematic workshops and arts and crafts sessions entertain visitors. 
The Christmas Village in the mountains of Limassol, which has been loved all over Cyprus, returns for yet another year in Kyperounda village square. A beautiful setting with wooden houses, decorated trees and festive surprises, welcomes the people who will attend the festive events.
Το Χριστουγεννιάτικο Χωριό της ορεινής Λεμεσού που αγαπήθηκε από όλη την Κύπρο, επιστρέφει για ακόμα μία χρονιά στην πλατεία του χωριού Κυπερούντα. Ένα όμορφο σκηνικό με ξύλινα σπιτάκια, στολισμένα δέντρα και γιορτινές εκπλήξεις, υποδέχεται τον κόσμο που θα συμμετάσχει σε ποικίλες εκδηλώσεις.

George Nicolaou, the producer, George Michaelides, Constantinos Constantinou & Phivos Nicolaides enjoy a glass of traditional zivania produced in the village of Kyperounta. Zivania is a traditional Cypriot distillate that is produced on the island of Cyprus. It is a colourless alcoholic beverage with a light aroma of grapes. Its average content in alcohol is 45%. 
Local artists and producers participate by having stalls, sharing their work with the public and offering unique gift ideas for shoppers. 
Lygia Malioti and Maria Tasouri enjoy the atmoshere.
