The Cyprus Association of Travel and Tourism Agents (ACTTA) and the Display Art Plc Group of Companies were the organizers of the 25th TRAVEL EXPO CYPRUS Tourism Exhibition.
Travel Expo Cyprus, formerly called “Taxidi” (“Journey” in Greek), is organized every year by the Cyprus Association of Travel and Tourism Agents (ACTTA) and the Display Art Plc Group of Companies. The exhibition constitutes the ideal forum where the Cypriot traveller can obtain correct and comprehensive information on tourist destinations and travel packages from all over the world.
Η Travel Expo Cyprus, που παλαιότερα ονομαζόταν «Ταξίδι» («Ταξίδι» στα ελληνικά), διοργανώνεται κάθε χρόνο από τον Κυπριακό Σύνδεσμο Ταξιδιωτικών και Τουριστικών Πρακτόρων (ACTTA) και τον Όμιλο Εταιρειών Display Art Plc. Η έκθεση αποτελεί το ιδανικό φόρουμ όπου ο Κύπριος ταξιδιώτης μπορεί να λάβει σωστές και ολοκληρωμένες πληροφορίες για τουριστικούς προορισμούς και ταξιδιωτικά πακέτα από όλο τον κόσμο.
Tour operators, airlines, International Tourism Authorities and local organizations, district offices from Cyprus and Greece, Cyprus and international hotel chains, foreign countries and other travel and tourism related parties participate in the exhibition with their own pavilions.
Στην έκθεση συμμετέχουν τουριστικοί πράκτορες, αεροπορικές εταιρείες, Διεθνείς Τουριστικές Αρχές και τοπικοί οργανισμοί, επαρχιακά γραφεία από Κύπρο και Ελλάδα, Κυπριακές και διεθνείς ξενοδοχειακές αλυσίδες, ξένες χώρες και άλλα μέρη που σχετίζονται με τα ταξίδια και τον τουρισμό με τα δικά τους περίπτερα.

Travel Expo Cyprus, has been established as a very useful annual event in which Cypriot travellers await with anticipation in order to explore their options not only for their summer holidays but also for their future trips. Participants provide visitors with information about available packages but also about specialized holiday trips abroad and equip them with printed material containing comprehensive information including the cost of the various options on offer.
H Travel Expo Cyprus, έχει καθιερωθεί ως μια πολύ χρήσιμη ετήσια εκδήλωση στην οποία οι Κύπριοι ταξιδιώτες περιμένουν με ανυπομονησία για να εξερευνήσουν τις επιλογές τους όχι μόνο για τις καλοκαιρινές τους διακοπές αλλά και για τα μελλοντικά τους ταξίδια. Οι συμμετέχοντες ενημερώνουν τους επισκέπτες για τα διαθέσιμα πακέτα αλλά και για εξειδικευμένα ταξίδια διακοπών στο εξωτερικό και τους προσφέρουν έντυπο υλικό, που περιέχει ολοκληρωμένες πληροφορίες, συμπεριλαμβανομένου του κόστους των διαφόρων επιλογών που προσφέρονται.
Travel Expo Cyprus, serves a reciprocal purpose. It provides information to the travel public on available packages as well as assistance in exploring their options. At the same time, the participants use the exhibition to learn about the public’s wishes and record travel trends in order to revise their packages accordingly and meet new needs and preferences. It is the largest expo event in the Republic of Cyprus, promoting outbound tourism among its inhabitants. The fairs bring together a wide range of exhibitors from specific branches of tourism sector (travel agencies, airlines, hotel chains), international and local organizations as well as representatives of countries and regions. This year, once again, the Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Nicosia took part in this event.
Η Travel Expo Cyprus, εξυπηρετεί έναν αμοιβαίο σκοπό. Παρέχει πληροφορίες στο ταξιδιωτικό κοινό σχετικά με τα διαθέσιμα πακέτα καθώς και βοήθεια στην εξερεύνηση των επιλογών τους. Ταυτόχρονα, οι συμμετέχοντες χρησιμοποιούν την έκθεση για να ενημερωθούν για τις επιθυμίες του κοινού και να καταγράψουν τις ταξιδιωτικές τάσεις, προκειμένου να αναθεωρήσουν ανάλογα τα πακέτα τους και να ανταποκριθούν στις νέες ανάγκες και προτιμήσεις. Είναι η μεγαλύτερη έκθεση στην Κυπριακή Δημοκρατία, που προωθεί τον εξερχόμενο τουρισμό στους κατοίκους της. Οι εκθέσεις συγκεντρώνουν ένα ευρύ φάσμα εκθετών από συγκεκριμένους κλάδους του τουριστικού κλάδου (τουριστικά γραφεία, αεροπορικές εταιρείες, αλυσίδες ξενοδοχείων), διεθνείς και τοπικούς οργανισμούς καθώς και εκπροσώπους χωρών και περιοχών.

This specialized exhibition is characterized as one of the most successful exhibitions organized in Cyprus and attracts over 10,000 visitors every year, while it is the only tourism exhibition held in our country.
